A Triathlon consist three disciplines, usually swimming, cycling, and running in consecutive order.
Events cover various distances set out by the governing body Triathlon England and competitors race against peers in their age category.
Taking part in a triathlon is very much achievable for everyone with practice. We run sessions throughout the year on each of the individual disciplines of running, swimming and cycling as well as holding small-scale triathlon events in the lead up to the Big Lime Triathlon. All sessions are run by qualified instructors.

Friday 13th August 2021 – Open Water Swim
Start time – 7pm
Expected finish time - 8pm
Distance – 750m
Saturday 14th August 2021– Aquathlon
Start time – 9am
Expected finish time – 10:30am
Distance – 750m swim and 5km run
Entry - £24.00
Sunday 15th August 2021 – Big Lime Triathlon
Start time - 8am
Expected finish time - 11am
Distance – 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5 km run
Individual Entry - £40.00
Relay Entry - £54.00
Triple Lime Challenge
Enter all three races for the challenge to receive the Friday swim free! You’ll receive a special award if you state your swim time on Friday and maintain it for the Aqualthlon and Triathlon. Entry - £60 for all three.
