SPORTIVATE

Sportivate is a nationwide campaign that formed part of the 'Places, People, Play' Olympic legacy programme developed by the Government and Sport England.

The campaign aims to provide teenagers and young adults 11-25 opportunities to participate in regular sporting activity.

The initiative supports the Play strand of Places People Play and has directly contributed to the mass participation legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Who is Sportivate for?

Sportivate is a programme aimed at 11 to 25-year-olds, which seeks to engage them in regular sports participation. With a particular focus on those who are not regularly participating in sport, the programme will offer 6-8 week courses of high-quality coaching provision.
